What documents do expats need for a Dutch mortgage?
Besides the usual documents, expats are often asked for additional paperwork about residence status or foreign income.

- Passport or ID, and a residence permit if applicable.
- BSN number and registration with the municipality (BRP).
- Employment contract, employer's statement and recent payslips.
- Recent bank statements.
- Proof of own funds and their origin.
